gotta love the long weekends...Friday night was spent in downtown crossing with the girlies which turned out to be not so great because apparently all the shops close at like 8 or 9...wtf??? but I found a really cute jewelry store and browsed H+M for a bit. Then we ended up walking back down Newbury Street and then back by Fenway Park (oh Red Sox, there's always next year) but I got a free t-shirt!! Then Saturday Meredith, Laura, Allie, and I walked to Emmanual for breakfast, can we just discuss how much nicer their food is?? But there were no boys :( but it was weird eating there and seeing all the familiar Simmons girls, I felt like we should have been in Bartol...but we weren't (thank god) and then we went for dinner at Bertucci's in the POURING rain but yay for italian food!!! Then today we all headed over to watch my roomie run in a half-marathon!!! she placed second!! and it was fun crossing Brookline and not having to worry about death by car. and now it's back to do massive work, but it's mostly papers and reading so it shouldn't be too bad...I miss my kitty, and my bed, and my car
